Where it All Started- Halloween Traditions!


Let’s take a quick glance in some facts about Halloween Traditions & beliefs where it all started:
Everything point out in the beginning, the starting point, we just have to follow what happen next or for an eventual ending. It is the same with different Halloween traditions, one the famous tradition is wearing costume like the varsity cheerleader costume. We have to know where it all started, that could probably bring our celebration into a more meaningful events.


·         Halloween Traditions and customs started in Celtics people way back in the old times. Where Halloween is yearly celebrate during the end of October, because it is said to believe that the door between the living and the dead is getting narrower.
·         Another Halloween Traditions of Celtic people is they also practice reincarnation where it is said to believe that the soul of their loved ones often inhabiting in to an animal- usually it is represented as a black cat.
·         “Halloween” is a shortening word called All hallows Eve which means before All saints day
Other Halloween Traditions & Customs
·         Jack-O’-Lantern
-      Originated with the Irish folk tale of the 18th century, it is a carved pumpkin with a monstrous image and it is illuminated with a candle light.
·         Trick or Treat
-      Another famous Halloween Traditions that keeps on practicing’  now a  days is the Trick or Treat where little children dressed up with a scary costume and goes from house to house for candies.
·         Halloween Masquerade Mask
-      Making or buying a scary Halloween Masquerade Mask is one famous Halloween Traditions. Wearing a spooky mask always set the mood of a creepy Halloween.
·         Bobbing for apples
-      When the Roman Empire developed the Celtic rituals, it is the start of the Halloween Traditions of the Roman Empire. Apples is represented as a holy fruit of the goddess.
